Eastside Byre -sleeps 4 + 2

Eastside Byre is entered through a traditional stone archway from the farm yard. A stone flagged corridor leads to the spacious, light, well equipped kitchen dining room with exposed beams. There is a utility room with toilet and belfast sink off the corridor. Four steps down from the dining area are the 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. The double bedroom has an ensuite shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. There is also a bathroom on this lower level, again complete with wash hand basin and toilet. Returning to the dining room, an ash wood staircase leads to the upstairs sitting room which has spectacular views.  This is a character filled room with exposed beams and a stone hearth with wood burning stove. There is also the option of accommodating 2 extra people up here on a comfortable double sofa bed.

The Byre now has a delightful garden entered through the archway and a perfect place to enjoy a sundowner with a memorable view!

Facilities

Eastside Byre has a ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, automatic washing machine and  tumble dryer. In the living area there is a colour TV with video, DVD and CD player. There is a pay phone in the kitchen dining room. For small children, a cot and high chair can be supplied.

The cottage has a wood burning stove  and electric under floor heating. 

Pricing and Availability

The price for Eastside Byre varies according to the season from £400 per week in the winter months to £700 per week high season (mid July until the end of August). Short breaks of 3-4 days are considered in the winter months as are long term rentals. If more than 6 people stay then there is a charge of £50 per week per extra person. Dogs are welcome but there is an extra charge of £20 per week for the additional cleaning required.
