Eastside Steading is entered through a traditional stone archway from the farm yard.  A tiled corridor leads to a very spacious light room with an open plan kitchen dining room at one end and a cosy sitting area with sofas and stone hearth with wood burning stove at the other. French windows lead to the garden. There is a shower/utility room with toilet off the entrance corridor. A spiral staircase with hand-crafted wrought iron banister leads upstairs to a landing, two bedrooms (one twin and one double) and a bathroom - all with velux windows to magnificent views.

Facilities

Eastside Steading has a ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, freezer, automatic washing machine and  tumble dryer. In the living area there is a colour TV with video, DVD, CD players and pay phone. For small children, a cot and high chair can be supplied.

The cottage has a wood burning stove  and electric storage heaters. 

Pricing and Availability

The price for Eastside Steading varies according to the season from £340 per week in the winter months to £580 per week high season (mid July until the end of August). Short breaks of 3-4 days are considered in the winter months as are long term rentals. If more than 4 people stay then there is a charge of £50 per week per extra person. Dogs are welcome but there is an extra charge of £20 per week for the additional cleaning required.

N.B. Unlike a lot of self catering cottages there are no hidden extras!  Logs and electricity are included in the price as well as bed linen and towels.
