From time to time we send out our e-newsletter. It is the best way to find out about what is happening at Eastside and any offers or late availability.

Eastside | A Gathering film

As the sheep business runs quite literally along side the holiday cottages we are always keen to share the comings and goings of the farm with our guests.

Eastside farms 1200 hectares. The sheep are farmed on an ancient system called “hefting” and they literally have the run of the place. At certain times of the year for shearing or marking, where we choose the lambs for stock or sale, we ‘gather’ the sheep bringing them off the hill & down to the farmstead.

Eastside | An Autumn Sunset Film

Watch our film capturing the vivid purples and golds of an Autumn sunset in the hills surrounding the cottages. The film is entirely shot on the farm and all these magnificent locations are within walking distance of your cottage door.
