Eastside Holiday Cottages are beautifully converted to a 4 Star standard from the original 18th Century farm buildings. Nestled in the heart of the Pentland Hills Regional Park near Edinburgh, they are the perfect place to spend your holiday.
The self-catering cottages are on a working sheep farm and surrounded by 3000 acres of stunning Scottish landscape. It’s a great place to unwind - peace and quiet are in plentiful supply. The cottages are available all year round and the changing seasons offer a different experience each time you come.
Escape it all and hideaway in the hills, indulge in some great walking, mountain biking and fresh air, visit the many attractions nearby or just admire the stunning views from the window of your cosy cottage - the choice is yours. We hope to see you soon at Eastside!

When staying in one of our cosy rural holiday cottages it’s hard to believe that you’re only 15 mins drive from Scotland’s capital city. Edinburgh is the cultural heart of Scotland and has a huge amount to offer at all times. See our “What’s On” guides to find out more about Edinburgh and the Lothians.
The farm is just south of Edinburgh and well serviced by Edinburgh Airport - about 25 mins drive away. We recommend a car for your stay but there is a bus service into Edinburgh from the bottom of our track. The track is one mile long and a little bumpy in places but it makes the journey all the more exciting - we’re literally off the beaten track!
The farm cottages are surrounded by the Pentland Hills of Midlothian. The hills form a Regional Park by virtue of their outstanding natural beauty and provide wonderful scenery for you to enjoy during your stay.
