Eastside Steading and Stable Christmas Photos

This year, as with every year we've decorated the cottages beautifully for Christmas. Our photographer Michael Rummey has returned to photograph the Steading cottage, sleeping 4 and the Stable cottage, sleeping 2 in all their Christmas glory. Please take a look at the new photographs and enjoy!

If you're thinking about visiting Eastside Cottages at Christmas time, maybe next year, then remember that all of our cottages are specially decorated for the occasion and would make a wonderful place for a Christmas holiday! We have a separate article in the blog about our larger cottage, the Byre, so be sure to have a read of that too.

For now, let's concentrate on the Steading and the Stable - both cottages have 4 ft trees decorated traditionally with cones, crowns and baubles just awaiting your presents. Table candles are provided and wreathes of cones, berries and poinsettias welcome guests at the front door. Our guests can relax by a blazing wood stove watching a great Christmas movie, take the sledges out for a spin on the hills outside your door, or take a trip into Edinburgh for some last minute Christmas shopping.
