The Steading was originally a hay-shed but today the bedding is a little more comfortable! Two bedrooms, a double and a twin room, make this just right for up to 4 people. A light and spacious open plan kitchen opens into the cosiest of sitting areas complete with a wood-burning stove to curl up by. A spiral staircase entices you upstairs to bed where warm duvets await and you can admire the spectacular scenery all around you.
Everything you could need is right here; the cottage overlooks the farmyard, it is very well equipped and during the summer months you can enjoy the idyllic and private cottage country garden that even has a BBQ.

Bring the Dog! We're pet friendly
If your holiday would not be the same without your four legged friend, don't worry we are happy to accommodate 2 dogs per cottage for the additional charge of £20 per dog. We just have to insist on a few basic house rules, so please make sure your dog agrees to the following:
- I promise to be extremely well behaved and not to bark and disturb other guests if I'm left alone.
- I understand that my dog bed is the best place to sleep and even if human beds and furniture look really cosy it's not allowed at Eastside.
- I promise not to chase sheep or anything else when out and about walking on the farm.
- I'll make sure that my owners will dispose of 'doggiebags' in a proper manner.
- I swear that if I nibble or accidentally damage anything I'll get my owners to pay for the damage (even if they are very cross with me)!
- I'll tell my owners that it's best to let the Cowan family know about me when booking.
