Eastside Farm Profile

Eastside is a working family sheep farm of 3000 acres, run by Alastair and Susan Cowan, in the heart of the spectacular scenery of the Pentland Hills Regional Park. The 18th century farm steading has been imaginatively converted into three character filled cottages which sit side by side on the hillside and combine old world charm all modern conveniences.

A new venture is selling our delicious blackface lamb (professionally butchered and vacuum packed) direct to the consumer from the farm. See www.pentland-hills-produce.co.uk for details.

New Service for 2007

Freda Hamilton of About Sevens Catering cooked and delivered a delicious meal for a christening party in one of our cottages. They were delighted with her food and service. She is happy to cater for any party of six people or more. Telephone 01968 660598 or mobile 07778 599435 for details.

What our visitors have said about Eastside:

Terry Gray and Nigel Clements, East Sussex, " Up, up and away, what a splendid place to stay!"

Ian and Carolla Smith, Moray, " A little bit of heaven, hidden away from the city. Frosty nights, and mixed days  but Christmas day was magical! Three inches of snow, bright sun, horses in the stable and fine accommodation. All who visited were enthralled."
