Oink Canongate - hog roast rolls - open Thurs/Fri/Sat 11-3 - but worth checking on their IG what is going on

Bross Bagels - Bruntsfield/Portobello/ Stock Bridge/ West End/ Leith Walk - open for takeaway filled bagels or you can buy bagels/ fillings to do at home - filled or unfilled bagels can be ordered online and collected at any of the shops.

Twelve Triangles - seriously delicious pastries and coffee - various shops - open for takeaway - they also have a good selection of sour dough bread if that floats your boat.

Mimi’s Bakehouse - The Shore or Corstorphine - open for takeaway coffee and cake - think they also deliver UK wide so folk could probably order online if they wanted stuff delivered to the cottages.

Mary’s Milk Bar - Grassmarket - delicious ice cream and chocolate - open for takeaways Friday to Sunday but keep an eye on their IG for updates.

Bakeaway

Cote at Home - good website with delicious food - they definitely deliver but you have to pick a delivery day and they are generally quite booked up so plan ahead.

Wedgewood - restaurant on the Royal Mile - new menu is released on Mondays at 5pm for the following weekend - can also order wine- probably have to be for collection only for you guys but can’t seem to check.

Home By Nico - you have to be really quick off the mark to order this but it is really good - they release a new menu every week which opens up to preorders every Friday via email (so you need to be signed up) to be delivered/ collected the following Friday or Saturday - folk should check the website to sign up or for details.

Timberyard - they release a new menu every week - their website doesn’t seem to have any info about this so check out their IG for details - Preorder for Thurs/Fri/Sat, can also order wine and collection only between 1pm and 5.30pm on the day the meal is ordered for.

Gardeners Cottage

Fishmarket Newhaven - posh fish and chips - good fish and chips/ seafood restaurant featured on BBC’s Remarkable Places to Eat last year - can order for collection on their website

Pentland Pies - look delicious and have been recommended to us by friends - check out their website

Dine - not had their at home thing yet but lots of people raving about it. Can be ordered for collection, need to order about 5 weeks in advance at the moment. You can order food and cocktails/ wine. The food in the restaurant is always good!

Chop House - available for collection via their website - they have a restaurant in Brunstfield but not 100% sure you can collect from there… also have wines and cocktails available.

Made By Kip - handmade pasta made in East Lothian - they won’t deliver to you but might be worth messaging on IG to see if you could collect… it looks really nice pasta!

Lucky Liquor - bar on Queen Street are doing takeaway cocktails.
